Contract Length: 3 months initially, with potential for long-term extension
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Screening Requirement: Enhanced DBS required prior to start (due to working across multiple school sites)

Job Overview:

A leading facilities management company is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to work across multiple school sites in the Islington area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a stable role within a professional environment, delivering maintenance and support services in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple school locations
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards and safety regulations
• Carry out fault finding, repair, and installation work as required
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks and inspections
• Liaise with site contacts to ensure minimal disruption to school operations
• Travel between sites as needed, maintaining punctuality and reliability

Requirements:

• Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Proven experience in a commercial facilities management environment
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good timekeeping, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Enhanced DBS required before start (essential due to working in schools)
