Job Description - MOD - Storekeeper - National

?? Storekeeper – Ministry of Defence (MOD) | Lympstone, Devon ?? Location: Lympstone, Devon (Full-time, on-site)

?? Pay Rate: £12.28/hour PAYE | £16.67/hour Umbrella
?? IR35 Status: In Scope
?? Clearance Required: BPSS (Basic)
We are currently recruiting 2 Storekeepers to support logistics operations at the Ministry of Defence site in Lympstone. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with logistics, warehousing, or military stores experience to contribute to a fast-paced and mission-critical environment.
?? Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily movement, issue, and receipt of equipment and materials
Prepare weapons and ancillary equipment for issue in line with training schedules (TAFMIS)
Complete Dangerous Goods paperwork as required
Load and unload stores/freight in line with legislation – including Radioactive materials
Operate Forklift Trucks and manual handling equipment
Update and maintain records on MJDI (MOD’s Supply Chain Software)
Maintain equipment serviceability, cleanliness, and stock control
Support clothing store, field store, armoury, and R&D areas as required
Undertake other duties as directed by the Logistics Officer or Line Manager

? Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in a Logistics or Stores environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confident using Office 365 tools
Qualified Forklift Driver – highly desirable
Experience with store accounting systems – desirable

?? Training Provided (as required):

All Arms Dangerous Goods Consignor (AADGC) – Air & Surface
Workplace Supervisor (Radioactive Materials)
