Pay Rate: £20 - £23 Umbrella

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Multi Trader to join our team in Southwark. In this role, you will carry out a variety of building repairs, maintenance, renewals, and replacements across a range of trades. Your responsibilities will span from routine reactive repairs to large-scale programmed refurbishment work and occupational therapy adaptations in both occupied and void housing properties, as well as other Council-owned premises.

Your key duties will include:

• Carrying out building repairs and maintenance work to the highest standards and in accordance with current regulations and best trade practices.
• Ensuring all repairs are completed 'Right First Time,' with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Delivering work on time and to agreed quality standards, with an adaptable approach to meet the needs of our tenants.
• Contributing to making Camden the best place to live, work, study, and visit by ensuring that our buildings are maintained to a high standard.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated individual who has experience in building maintenance and repairs, with the following skills and qualities:

• Proven experience in building repairs and maintenance, preferably within a social housing environment.
• Knowledge of trade disciplines and the ability to carry out various repair works, including refurbishment and adaptations.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
