Reed Business Support are currently recruiting for a Multilingual Debt Collector to join our client based in Maidstone on a temporary to permanent basis.

No prior experience in collections is required—just a great attitude, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a willingness to learn.

What you’ll be doing

• Contacting customers via phone and email to recover outstanding payments
• Using clear and professional communication to resolve queries and negotiate repayment plans
• Updating customer accounts accurately and efficiently
• Working with internal teams to manage escalated or complex cases
• Maintaining a positive, customer-focused approach at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Fluent in English and at least one other language (spoken and written)
• Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Previous office experience is a bonus but not essential
