Bury Council are looking for a Multi-Skilled Flagger to join our team. This role involves comprehensive flagging, drainage, and groundworks associated with the repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of council homes, public buildings, and other properties managed by Bury Council.

• Perform all aspects of flagging, drainage, and groundworks as well as relevant multi-skilled tasks on properties managed or worked on by Bury Council.
• Conduct excavation works, assessing the structural integrity of areas before commencing work.
• Handle fencing repairs, replacements, and removals as necessary.
• Operate and maintain all issued plant and equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines.
• Use IT systems (PDA’s or iPad) provided to update and maintain accurate documentation in real time.
• Re-use part-used materials and dispose of waste according to recycling and sorting requirements.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments of tenant-reported repairs, providing sufficient information to planners for effective action and repair completion.
• Ensure that vehicles provided are parked, driven considerately, kept secure, alarmed, and clean.

• Experience in flagging, drainage, and groundworks.
• Ability to operate various IT systems for documentation and record-keeping.
• Must possess a valid UK driving licence.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items and working outdoors regularly.
• Proficient in using and maintaining plant machinery and equipment safely.
