Sheffield City Council are looking for Multi-Skilled Operatives for a three-month contract. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in painting, decorating, and plumbing. Candidates should be physically fit and knowledgeable about health and safety regulations, as the job involves heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.

• Perform skilled tasks in painting, decorating, and plumbing across various council properties.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
• Manage materials and equipment efficiently, ensuring they are fit for purpose and stored correctly.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and effective for use.

• Proven experience in painting, decorating, and/or plumbing.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
