Multi-Trade Operative - Social Housing?? Colchester and surrounding areas??? Full-time | Competitive hourly rate
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our client's team, working within the social housing sector across Colchester and nearby areas.We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a first-class maintenance and repair service to tenants and properties. If you're proactive, reliable, and customer-focused, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including responsive repairs, void property works, and property MOTs.
• Work across a range of trades, with a focus on carpentry, painting and decorating, tiling, and floor laying.
• Apply basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work where required.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within agreed timeframes.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in multiple trades, particularly:
  • Carpentry
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Tiling
  • Floor Laying
  • Basic Plumbing & Electrical
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.
