Salary: £110 - £120 a day

Are you passionate about music and looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and confident Music Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and creative secondary school in Chester from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for music graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover supervisors who are keen to support students in a vibrant and engaging learning environment. The school are ideally looking for someone with previous experience with instruments or singing and can confidently help deliver interactive practical lessons.

• Supervise whole-class music lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support the music department with lesson set-up, rehearsals, and performances where needed.
• Provide general cover across the school when required.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

• Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
