Tradewind is working on behlaf of an SEN Secondry School who is looking for a Part time Music teacher to join there wonderful school after the May halft term.

You will lead the delivery of a broad and engaging music curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of our pupils, many of whom have complex learning needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Your work will encourage creativity, boost confidence, and foster a love of music.

• Plan and deliver inclusive and differentiated music lessons to students across various key stages

• Use music as a therapeutic and expressive outlet to support students' social and emotional development

• Organise musical activities, workshops, and performances that celebrate student creativity

• Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and therapists to deliver a holistic education

• Assess student progress and adapt teaching accordingly

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism or strong experience in music education

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable

• A creative, flexible approach and strong understanding of adaptive teaching methods

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A genuine passion for inclusive arts education

• A supportive, experienced SEN team and forward-thinking leadership

• Small class sizes and a strong staff-to-pupil ratio
