Network Engineer

Network Engineer | Goole | 3-Month Contract

The Network Engineer would possess advanced or high-level expertise in Checkpoint, Cisco DNA, and Cisco ACI firewalls.

An understanding of the support and troubleshooting aspects of ACI and DNA is crucial for the network engineer, and any deployment or installation experience is advantageous.

Understanding BAU/Operational concerns with DNA and ACI is essential for the network engineer.

Responsibilities and Technologies of the Network Engineer:

• Cisco DNA experience is required - High level or advanced in order to troubleshoot, support, and fix issues.
• Cisco ACI experience is Preferred - High level or advanced in order to troubleshoot, support, and fix issues.
• A working understanding of firewalls, such as Checkpoint or ASA, would be advantageous.
• Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
• Solid technical expertise in Cisco switching and routing, including BAU support.
• Relevant Network Certifications are beneficial (CCNP, CCNA etc)
• Ad hoc travel to site when required

The customer is based near Goole and Doncaster. The Network Engineer is ideally required to work 1/2 days a week onsite.
