Network Test Engineer: Layer 2 / Layer 3

Location: 1 day in Bradford for first 12 weeks then fully remote

Duration: Initial 12 week contract (Expected long term assignment - 12 months+)

Rate: £435 per day, in scope, umbrella

IR35: In scope

A highly technical, experienced hands on resource required with experience of managing, coordinating, facilitating & executing test plans, defect management and status reporting; primarily for Layer 2 & Layer 3 work, SDWAN features.
Role Specifics

• Layer 2 and Layer 3 Test experience
• Test Strategy | Planning | Estimation | Execution
• Layer 3 network experience, Cisco
• Manual test + automation of Layer 2 and Layer 3.
  S-Wan, switches and some of the cable models..
  Flexible resource to move between Layer 2 and Layer 3 projects on technical knowledge & experience of Layer 2 Metro Ethernet networks, Layer 3, preferably Cisco Kit, SDWAN
• Layer 2 only switches on Cisco and Layer 3 it's all Cisco/ Juniper/ Nokia routers + all routing protocols going into layer 3.
• Cisco and SDWAN
• Python or Bash
