Full-Time KS2 HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Rochdale, OL16
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: 1 Year Fixed-Term (with potential for ECT placement)
Are you a qualified HLTA or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for guaranteed, meaningful experience in a primary school setting?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the OL16 area of Rochdale is seeking two dedicated HLTA professionals to support KS2 (Years 4 and 5) and one HLTA in KS1 (Year 2). This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, on a one-year contract with great pay and clear progression opportunities.

A Fantastic Opportunity for ECTs:

This HLTA role is an ideal stepping stone for Early Career Teachers looking to gain essential classroom experience. With close mentoring from experienced teachers, ECTs in this role will:
* Build confidence and refine teaching skills
* Strengthen behaviour management strategies
* Develop experience in whole-class teaching
* Significantly improve their chances of securing a long-term ECT placement

The school prioritises internal candidates for any teacher vacancies that arise throughout the year, offering ECTs a real pathway into a permanent teaching role.
