JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced OPD Pharmacy Dispenser looking for a rewarding locum role in North London? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

• Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser 

• Location: North London, NHS Hospital Outpatients

• Duration: 6 months minimum, with potential for a permanent role

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (30-minute break), 40 hours per week

• Start Date: April/May

• End Date: Ongoing

• Rate of Pay: £15.50 - £16.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our client's Outpatient Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Dispenser and play a key role in supporting outpatient services. In this role, you will:

• Support the efficient running of the outpatient dispensary

• Accurately label and dispense prescriptions

• Use the JAC dispensing system to manage workflow

• Work closely with the wider pharmacy team and outpatient staff

• Ensure medication safety and service quality standards are upheld
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services

• Previous outpatient dispensary experience

• Confidence using JAC dispensing software

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• A proactive attitude and ability to work within a team
  
  

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability Monday to Friday with standard daytime hours. The contract is a minimum of 6 months with the potential to go permanent, depending on performance and service needs.
