Notice Processing Officer

Overview of the role

We're looking for a Notice Processing Officer to join the busy Parking Services team. This role supports the efficient administration of parking notices and permits, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, fairly and within legal timescales.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide advice and information to customers on parking legislation and council policies.
• Process correspondence, permit and voucher applications, and assess eligibility in line with anti-fraud measures.
• Receive and process payments for penalty notices, permits and more.
• Maintain accurate records and handle data input across in-house systems.
• Liaise with internal teams, local authorities, police, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to special projects, including the rollout of new parking zones.
• Support service excellence through compliance with health and safety, data protection, and customer service policies.
