Academics are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a warm, welcoming and friendly primary school in Newport. You will be working in a nursery that has a group of children in the morning and a second group in the afternoon.

The ideal candidate would:

• Be able to drive
• Have Patience
• Be able to form a bond with children
• Have excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills

• Daily rate of £85 per day
• Regular, long-term work.
• Your own consultant who will support you during the sign up process and throughout your placement

What we need from you

• An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service
• Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
• Two recent and professional references
• Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
