Nursery Assistant

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

• Assist with mealtimes, toileting, and personal care routines as required.

• Contribute to observations and record-keeping of children's progress and achievements.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents and carers.

• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.

Essential

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, flexible, and willing to learn.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or working towards).

• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.

• Basic knowledge of the EYFS framework.

• Paediatric First Aid training.
