Nursery Assistant - Qualified

About the Role:

We are seeking both Temporary and Permanent nursery assistants to work with our partner nurseries.

Randstad Education is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our partner nurseries and schools in Liverpool. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting youngchildren's early development, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where they can flourish. This role offers a temp-to-perm contract, providing flexibility and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily activities of the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
• Help plan and implement activities that support children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Maintain the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Build positive relationships with children to boost their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with nursery staff and teachers to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Help prepare and tidy nursery or classroom spaces to ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Monitor and record children's progress, contributing to reports as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering updates on their child's development and well-being.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings is highly desirable.
• Caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting child development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
• Relevant childcare qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not mandatory.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
