A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the Role - Nursery Class Teacher

As a Nursery Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 4 years old. The school places a strong emphasis on play-based learning, language development, and the personal, social, and emotional growth of every child.

You'll work alongside a dedicated Early Years team to deliver lessons that reflect the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensure children get the best possible start to their education journey.

Responsibilities - Nursery Class Teacher

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a warm, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
• Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and learning journeys
• Collaborate with EYFS staff to support a rich and balanced provision
• Foster children's independence, creativity, and curiosity through both structured and free-flow learning

The Ideal Candidate - Nursery Class Teacher

The school is looking for a compassionate and proactive Nursery Class Teacher who is committed to early childhood development and has the ability to inspire young learners.

You will need:

• QTS or EYTS, with experience teaching in a Nursery or EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development milestones
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A nurturing and creative approach to teaching
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
