Our client is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manger to provide leadership and management, ensuring the highest standard of care andeducation. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day operations and promoting an environment that fosters physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development for children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the daily operations to ensure the health and safety of the children, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements, ensuring all children receive stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Manage staff, ensuring they are supported, trained, and appraised to deliver high-quality childcare practices.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with local authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
• Manage nursery finances, including staff costs and budgets, and produce management information as required.
• Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations.
• Promote the nursery within the local community to enhance enrollment and participation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within a busy nursery setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with staff and parents to enhance the educational environment.
