Nursery Practitioner

An outstanding primary school in Enfield is looking to appoint a caring and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September 2025. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work in the 2-year-old provision and play a key role in delivering a nurturing and stimulating environment. This Nursery Practitioner role is available on a temp-to-perm basis, with trials taking place over the remaining weeks of term.

The school is looking for a Nursery Practitioner who can plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, support communication and emotional wellbeing, and contribute meaningfully to planning meetings and learning journals. The Nursery Practitioner will be expected to follow the EYFS framework while tailoring their support to each child's individual needs.

Duties for this Nursery Practitioner position include supporting toileting and nappy changing routines, promoting high-quality talk, keeping the nursery environment clean and engaging, and working closely with families during daily handovers. You will also attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and child-focused culture.
