Nursery Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We're seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our vibrant school in Blackburn, starting September 2025.

We're a welcoming and supportive school community committed to providing our youngest learners with the best possible start to their educational journey. You'll be instrumental in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and fun environment where children can thrive, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

This is a term-time only role, with working hours of 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily. The daily rate is £131 - £166, dependent on experience and qualifications. The role is expected to last for one term between September - December 2025.

We're looking for a Nursery Teacher who is:

• Qualified: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or appropriate Nursery qualification to be a room leader.

• Experienced: Has a proven track record of teaching in a nursery or early years setting.

• Experienced or with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework: Able to apply the Early Years Foundation Stage principles to planning and practice.

• Creative: Able to design and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences and utilise indoor and outdoor spaces. Continuous provision and break out spaces will need to be designed and set up the night before.

• Nurturing: Passionate about child development and dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Collaborative: A team player who can work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

• Committed: Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children as well as strong attendance.
