Occupational Therapist

Countywide Review Team in West Sussex looking to recruit a Qualified Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic, strengths-based service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to work within a hybrid setup across County Hall North (Horsham), County Hall (Chichester), and Bridge House (Worthing). The role offers flexibility of 1 day per week working from home (where feasible) and pays up to £38 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include:

• Carrying out comprehensive, strengths-based reviews for adults (18+) with a range of conditions including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and chronic health conditions.

• Contributing expert OT knowledge to assessments, care planning, and support implementation.

• Completing Mental Capacity Act assessments, CHC checklists, and Decision Support Tools.

• Recommending assistive equipment, home adaptations, and offering guidance to promote independence and well-being.

• Applying evidence-based practice and undertaking risk assessments where necessary.

• Participating in Continuing Health Care assessments as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

To Be Successful:

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience as an Occupational Therapist.

• Strong knowledge of strengths-based assessment and person-centred planning.

• HCPC Registration.

• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain this for you).

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.

• Understanding that final pay rates are determined by the hiring manager based on interview performance and skill level.
