Job Description - Office Manager

This temporary Office Manager role is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with a strong background in secretarial and business support.

Client Details

The organisation we are working with is based in Hailsham and specialises in Manufacturing and Production.

Description

As an Office Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflows and timely task completion.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments for team members.
  • Support with invoice matching, chasing and processing.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and telephone calls, with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure office supplies are well-stocked and liaise with suppliers when necessary.
  • Assist with organising events or projects as required by the team.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures in all office activities.
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new staff members.

Profile

A successful Office Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in secretarial or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in office software, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and best practices.

Job Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of approximately £19 - £21 per hour
  • Temporary role offering flexibility and a chance to go permanent
