Job Description - Office Manager

Office Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor - Central London Commercial Development

Are you a highly organised and proactive Office Manager looking for a challenging new role. We are working with a UK leading Tier 1 main contractor seeking a dedicated Office Manager to join our team on a major commercial development in central London. This is an ongoing contract role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious project and become an integral part of a dynamic and fast-paced construction team.

Duties:

  • As the Office Manager, you will be the heart of our site office, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing all administrative tasks, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, deliveries, and phone calls.

  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, and liaising with suppliers.

  • Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the site team.

  • Assisting with project documentation and reporting.

  • Supporting the project management team with various administrative duties.

  • Ensuring the office environment is kept tidy, safe, and professional.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
