Job Description - Onboarding Specialist

ONBOARDING SPECIALIST:

A growing organisation is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join their team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This temporary role focuses on delivering a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new starters. Based in a central London location, the successful candidate will support HR functions during an exciting period of expansion. Ideal for someone organised, personable, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.

ONBOARDING SPECIALIST ROLE:

Supporting the Recruitment Coordinator in managing a significant onboarding backlog, ensuring the timely processing of new hires
Taking ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process, from offer acceptance through to day-one readiness
Planning and scheduling induction programmes to ensure a smooth and engaging start for new employees
Coordinating IT setup, including hardware and system access, to ensure all technical requirements are in place
Managing HR onboarding tasks such as documentation, compliance, and first-day orientation

ONBOARDING SPECIALIST ESSENTIALS:

1–3 years’ experience in HR, ideally with hands-on involvement in onboarding new staff
