Locum Oncology Pharmacist (Band 7)

Are you a Band 7 Oncology Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role at a Private Hospital in Central London? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

• Job Title: Oncology Pharmacist Band 7

• Location: Central London, Private Hospital 

• Duration: Ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, or 9am - 5pm (30-minute break)

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: Ongoing 

• Rate of Pay: £27-37ph per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our client’s team as an Oncology Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of oncology patients. In this role, you will:

• Dispense and verify chemotherapy and oncology medications (oral and IV SACT)

• Release SACT for administration

• Provide patient counselling on SACT and supportive medications

• Review medication regimens and ensure compliance with treatment protocols

• Monitor patient responses to treatments and advise on medication adjustments

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration

• Experience working with oncology and haematology patients

• Strong clinical knowledge in oncology pharmacy

• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
