On-Site IT Support Engineer (SC Cleared)

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to appoint an internal IT Support Engineer on a contract (daily rate) basis. The IT Support Engineer will work on the user-facing Tech Bar, supporting users with IT related queries and solving associated technical hardware and basic software issues.

*The role requires active UK Security Clearance, therefore candidates without active SC Clearance cannot be considered*

Role Requirements

* Provide 1st/2nd Line on-site technical support for users (at all levels)
* Proactively seek out IT issues and actively resolve them in a timely manner
* Support various hardware and software issues and fixes (e.g. logins, application issues, mobile, laptops)
* Perform morning walkthrough to ensure printers and meeting room equipment is working correctly
* Provide exceptional, friendly customer service to users when assisting them with IT queries
* Support the IT Manager with ad-hoc technical duties as directed
* Communicate effectively with the customer and manage technical queries in line with company standards and SLA's

Required Skills & Experience

* Demonstrable technical IT support experience at 1st/2nd Line level
* Highly personable and approachable individual, able to support users at all levels
* Strong understanding of traditional IT environments (and associated hardware and software)
* Active UK Security Clearance
