Operations Analyst - Listed Derivatives - (6 Month Contract, London)

Marshall Wolfe are hiring an Operations Analyst on behalf of our investment client based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operations specialist to join a high-performing team, managing the expiry and delivery lifecycle of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) - including futures and options - across global markets, with a strong focus on EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the expiry lifecycle of futures and options (ETD) contracts for both house and client business.
• Schedule and monitor expiry/delivery events across major global exchanges, liaising with CCPs (Central Counterparties).
• Ensure accurate processing of expiries across internal systems and correct posting of positions to client accounts.
• Conduct physical delivery processing with CCPs and settlement agents.
• Respond to early exercise/assignment requests from clients or trading desks.
• Resolve breaks and discrepancies relating to expiry bookings, including corporate actions and cascading issues.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in an ETD trade lifecycle or delivery management role within an investment bank or financial institution.
• Strong working knowledge of listed derivatives, futures and options.
• Confident working with CCPs and managing operational risk in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
