Contract Duration: 5 Months with possibility of extension

Umbrella Rate: £83.01/Hour inside IR35

Job Description:

· Planning Area Lead, covering the East and South areas . This role is responsible as a Planning Lead for the East and South areas and will include strategic direction, attendance at planning committee, complaints and assisting in the day to day operations of the service.

· Responsible for assessing and determining planning applications.

· Leading area-based planning teams (in this case, South & East regions)

· Overseeing planning applications, appeals, and enforcement cases

· Acting as a senior advisor to planning committees and councillors

· Ensuring compliance with national planning legislation and local development frameworks

· Managing staff and contributing to service improvements
