We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our mission to re-engage young people by placing them in environments that better match their learning styles. This role is primarily outdoors and requires a love for all things in nature. You will work closely with teachers and students to foster social and emotional well-being, confidence, and self-belief.

We help individuals of all ages rebuild confidence, self-esteem, and engage with lifelong learning through various co-curricular projects such as business enterprise, animal care, fishing and foraging, and aquaponics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and innovative educational experiences.
• Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in co-curricular projects and activities, especially those involving nature and outdoor activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and families.
• Passion for education, nature, and helping students succeed.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various educational settings, particularly outdoors.
