Job Title: Temporary Short Term Packing Operator

Location: PQ Silicas - Warrington Site

Salary: 5 Crew - £38,278.92 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary until end of Sept 25 (via agency)

Contract Start Date:ASAP

Contract End Date:30th September 2025

The role:

To safely carry out the duties of a chemical plant packer across multiple areas of the plant. Working on a variable shift pattern as part of a team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation and set-up of the packing system in line with standard instructions. Ensuring all packaging, equipment, labelling and raw materials are available for the specific planned product and tonnage.
• Working closely under the guidance of the Microniser Operator to meet set KPI's
• Adherence to packing guidelines for sampling, pack presentation, labelling, weight control, addition of additives, reworking and adhering to good manufacturing practice.
• Active involvement complying with safety, environmental and Company standards, including auditing, reporting, team improvement activities and housekeeping in multiple areas.
• Communicate both verbally and in written format, in a timely fashion. Including completion of batch documentation, handover, assisting others to improve knowledge and understanding
• Cleandown of process equipment and packing areas, maintaining GMP standards.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications (Preferable but not essential)

• Relevant Industrial experience
• Manual Handling skills
• Experience of 24 hour continuous shift working
• Units and elements of C&G PT2 Process Plant Operations or NVQ level 1
• Current FLT - powered hand truck license
