Are you a skilled and compassionate painter & decorator looking for a stable temp-to-perm contract? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, working on domestic contracts within social housing across the North East. As a social housing painter, you'll be responsible for a wide range of painting and decorating tasks within occupied and void social housing properties. This role requires versatility, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to maintaining excellent standards of finish. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing surfaces thoroughly for painting and decorating, including cleaning, sanding, filling, and making good.
• Applying paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to a consistently high standard.
• Undertaking touch-up work and remedial painting as part of repairs and maintenance.
• Working efficiently and cleanly within residents' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and leaving properties tidy.
• Interacting respectfully and professionally with residents and colleagues.
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies, especially when working in occupied properties.

• An experienced painter & decorator, with a proven track record in domestic work.
• Experience in social housing or similar residential environments is essential.
• A valid CSCS card with relevant NVQ.
• Possesses excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a flawless finish.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging positively with residents.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
• Able to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence with own transport.
