Painter and Decorator

We are seeking on behalf of our client skilled Painter & Decorator to work within the damp, mould and condensation team, carrying out mould treatments throughout the Borough on a temporary contract until September.

A driving license and use of own vehicle are required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for decoration, internal and external, of properties and public buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure as far as reasonably practicable the satisfaction of the client or tenant with regard to quality of work, prompt services and conduct wherever work is to be carried out.

  To maintain and promote a favorable business image

  To ensure all relevant records, for example timesheets, are completed correctly by postholder as laid down by existing procedures.

  To keep abreast of technological developments within their trade.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter and decorator in a social housing, construction, or maintenance setting

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painter and decorator or equivalent qualification

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Must hold an Enhanced DBS check

• Must have a full clean driving license and use of a Vehicle

Working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
