Painter and Decorator

Sheffield City Council are looking for 6 skilled Painter and Decorators for a temporary full-time role within the repairs and maintenance service, specifically focusing on damp and mould/disrepair work streams. This role involves carrying out decoration and damp & mould treatments within customer homes.

• Perform painting and decorating tasks in various residential settings.
• Apply treatments for damp and mould as part of the decoration process.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with all safety and quality guidelines.
• Interact professionally with residents and handle any concerns with tact and efficiency.

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent.
• Proven experience in painting and decorating, with specific skills in damp and mould treatments preferred.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and residents.
