Painting & Decorating Trainer Assessor

Rotherwood Education are looking to recruit a highly motivated Painting & Decorating Trainer Assessor to join a forward thinking, vibrant College in Burnley. This position is set to start ASAP and ongoing until October 2025.

The position is to work 18.5 hours a week across Monday - Wednesday.

As a part time Painting & Decorating Trainer Assessor the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent member of staff including planning and parent's evenings if required.

The successful Painting & Decorating Trainer Assessor will:

• Be able to travel between College sites and travel to visit learners at their place of work, to conduct progress reviews, assessments and support.
• Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
• Have Painting & Decorating Level 3 qualification
• Have Maths & English L2 minimum
• Have previous experience teaching and current industry knowledge
• Posses an Assessor's qualification
• Have a good understanding and experience of delivering Apprentice Standards L2 in Painting & Decorating
• Have an understanding of EPA (End Point Assessment) process and requirements
• Possess good IT skills and ideally have experience of using OneFile.
• Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
• Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks
