Job Description - Panel Wirer

Pertemps Bristol Industrial are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer, on a temporary basis, for one of our clients based in Midsomer Norton BA3.

£18.00 per hour PAYE
£23.33 per hour payment via Umbrella
Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Free parking on site
Temporary Contract

About the role

Prepare components, drawings, tools and working area to ensure an efficient build
Production of control panels
Assembly of components and cabling to meet design requirements
Accurately and logically following schematic diagrams
Crimp and Lug ends of cables to the relevant standard using the correct calibrated tool
Liaising with manager on missing components and recording and reporting any mistakes found
Using appropriate tools to securely fix components to the backplate
To safely move motor control centres and steel frameworks around the workshops

The right candidate

An experienced and confident electrical wirer with significant panel build experience
Testing experience
Good communication skills

This is a temporary contract with a duration of 2 to 3 months. Possible extension until the end of the year for the right candidate.
