Job Title: Panel Wirer
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: Rotating - Mornings, Afternoons & Nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable engineering company working on high-quality electrical assemblies and transformer systems.

Mornings - 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 13:00 Friday
Afternoons - 16:00 to 01:00 Monday to Thursday, 12:00 to 18:00 Friday
Nights - 21:15 to 07:00 Monday to Thursday

For the first 4-6 weeks, you will be working on a standard day shift to complete initial training and onboarding.

Training Rate £17.17 PAYE or £22.58 Umbrella

Pay Rates( after training):

(Including 22% shift premium for rotating shifts)
* Basic: £20.94 PAYE / £27.68 Umbrella
* Overtime: £22.84 PAYE / £30.25 Umbrella
* Saturday: £25.76 PAYE / £34.20 Umbrella
* Sunday: £34.34 PAYE / £45.82 Umbrella

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assembly and wiring of electrical panels used in transformers, tap changers, and control cubicles
* Interpreting and working from detailed electrical engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Ensuring all work is completed to required quality standards and safety procedures.
* Collaborating closely with team leaders and production management to meet project deadlines.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Adhering to company health and safety policies at all times.
* Flexibility to work across different shift patterns and to work overtime or respond to call-outs when required.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Relevant electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent).
* Working at Height Certification.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Panel Wirer / Wireman or in a similar electrical assembly role.
* Proven experience working from engineering drawings.
* Transformer assembly experience is desirable, though not essential.
