Rate: £15-£25 per hour - Negotiable DOE

Contract Length: 6-month initial contract

Are you a detail-oriented and motivated legal professional looking to grow your career in a supportive local authority environment? Weare looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join a thriving Legal Services team and contribute to a wide range of important legal matters that support the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents, notices, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Organise and update legal files in line with compliance regulations.
• Provide legal and administrative assistance across a range of disciplines, in particular Planning, Procurement and Contracts, Enforcement and Housing matters.
• Assist with complaints, information requests, and internal legal queries.

Key Requirements

• A law graduate (or equivalent) with relevant paralegal or legal administrative experience, ideally in local government.
• Experience in court processes, legal drafting, and working to tight deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of housing, planning, data protection, or FOI.
• A clear understanding of local government structure and processes.
