Paralegal Clams Handler – Contract Role - £30000

Our client is an established international insurance company. They are looking for a claims handler to join the team on a contract basis to handle an influx of PPI Plevin claims.

Role Overview
You will join an existing team which focusses on reviewing ATE claims relating to the Plevin (PPI) scheme. You will consider the file submitted on each case and consider adequacy of documentation to validate cover under the terms of the policy.

The role will require familiarity with legal files, litigation processes and being able to interpret legal documents.

Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate must have some prior experience working in a legal setting on litigated cases.
• Knowledge of CPR.
• Full training on the specifics of PPI Plevin claims will be given.
• This is an urgent requirement so you will need to be immediately available or on short notice.
• The role is based in south London and is office based.

What’s on Offer

• This is a contract role scheduled to last until December but maybe longer depending on claims volumes.
• Salary is c£30000 + holiday pay.
• There is also the opportunity to gain good experience on PPI related litigation work and an insight into both insurance and legal sector work.
