Parcel Sorter / Warehouse Op

DCS Recruitment are recruiting for a Nights Warehouse Operative to work a regular night shift Monday to Friday.

Our client are one of the leaders in parcel sorting and delivery and require someones to work in the warehouse section in a fast paced nights shift.

All candidates must be able to travel to PR2 for 11.30pm.

Monday To Friday

11.30pm to 8am

Job Role

• To ensure the overall efficiency of the Warehouse by unloading or assembling orders for dispatch or intake.
• Completion of all relevant stock paperwork in an accurate and legible manner.
• Ensure that all housekeeping duties are undertaken in line with Company procedures and standards.
• Ensure any loose stock is attended to at all times.
• Report identified misplaced stock to your immediate Supervisor.
• Ensure immediate attention to all breakages and spillages.
• Ensure all areas are kept free of cardboard, shrink film and rubbish etc.
• Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures relating to Health and Safety are adhered to at all times.
• Undertake any other duties as and when required by your Manager in order to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 25 kg).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
