Job Description

The Payment Services Executive will be responsible for ensuring all outbound payments are processed in accordance with policies and procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager Payment Services, responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring mailboxes closely for payment requests and ensure they are actioned promptly, efficiently, accurately and in accordance with Policy/Process.
  • Liaising with relevant business areas to rectify any issues with the payment being requested.
  • Understanding contingency processes, including sanction screening in place to process outbound payments.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and emails are properly maintained in conjunction with department processes, GDPR and audit requirements.
  • Promoting best practice and enhancement of the customer journey by continuous improvement analysis and recommendations.
  • Communicating and escalating potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working within a Banking operations environment is essential. 
  • Able to demonstrate strong accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Self motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word).
