That's why this business wants someone like you - someone who gets it right, quietly and consistently. This is a temp payroll role based in Leeds, and they need you to keep things running while they recruit permanently.

What's in it for you:

• £28,000 - £30,000 salary (pro rata, paid monthly)
• 3 to 6 month contract (could extend)

The team's friendly, experienced, and know what they're doing. You'll get a proper handover and systems that actually work. They just need someone who can step in and take control of payroll without missing a beat.

What you'll be doing:

• Running end-to-end payroll for around 300 employees
• Processing starters, leavers, holidays, sickness, and pensions
• Dealing with HMRC submissions and RTI
• Resolving payroll queries and helping employees understand their payslips
• Making sure everything's accurate and on time

This payroll role is a great fit if you've done it before and can crack on without needing to learn from scratch. They're not expecting perfection - just someone dependable who knows their stuff and can get stuck in straight away.

What you'll need:

• Experience in a similar payroll role (ideally end-to-end)
• Confidence using payroll software (they'll train you on the specifics)
• Strong attention to detail and a calm, organised approach
• A good grasp of current payroll legislation
