Job Description - Payroll Administrator

Portfolio Payroll are supporting a fantastic client in York, seeking a Payroll Administrator to join them on a temporary basis.

The role is open to both part time and full time candidates, and offers an hourly rate of £14 per hour.

Key duties of the role include;

  • Processing payroll alongside the existing payroll manager
  • Processing timesheets and amendments to pay
  • Answering queries both in person and over the phone
  • Data entry

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have at least 1 years payroll experience
  • Have strong communication skills and feel confident talking about peoples pay face to face
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice
