As a payroll assistant, you'll be joining a not-for-profit that pays 700 people a month - on time, accurately, and with care. You'll play a hands-on role supporting the payroll team through a busy period, inputting starters, leavers, timesheets, absence data and more. You'll help with reconciliations, balance checks, payslip distribution, and keep the payroll system sharp and up to date.

The team uses a computerised payroll system, so end-to-end payroll experience is key. You'll also need to be confident with UK payroll legislation, Excel, and have a calm, customer-focused approach. If you've got a good handle on confidentiality, communication and cracking on independently - this one's got your name on it.
