Payroll Specialist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a well-established client in the Swindon area.

Duration: 3 months (possible more)

You will be responsible for managing and executing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.

You must have previous experience working on iTrent (system)

Duties will include:

• Processing end to end payroll from start to finish
• Process payrolls for all employees accurately and on time.
• Provide a support service to other departments within on client payroll and PAYE matters.
• Preparing reports. preparing payroll related documents and processing data records
• Collecting and processing of information required for the payrolls from the relevant managers. Scope of the information required includes starters, leavers, changes in pay, overtime and statutory payments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensuring that the College is always compliant with the relevant pension regulations including auto-enrolment requirements.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations
• Deal with ad hoc queries.
• You must have previous experience working on iTrent (system)

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years previous background experience in PAYE as well as other payroll processes including RTI, auto enrolment and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You must have previous experience working on iTrent (system). You will be a clear and confident communicator at all levels and be driven by success, exceeding deadlines and enjoy a fast-paced working environment. A willingness to further learning through formal training that is provided.
