Payroll Supervisor - Didcot - Up to £37,000 (12-Month FTC)

Location: Didcot, OX11 - Hybrid working available (2 days from home after probation)

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of around 40 monthly payroll clients, supervising team members, and acting as the key point of contact for payroll matters. It's hands-on, people-focused, and ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and delivering a high standard of service.

The role includes:

• Running full end-to-end payroll cycles, including RTI and statutory documentation
• Reviewing the work of junior team members
• Uploading pension contributions and managing auto enrolment
• Handling payment processes for salaries, HMRC and other third parties
• Responding to technical queries and building strong client relationships

You'll need:

• At least 4 years' payroll experience (ideally in an outsourced or bureau setting)
• Strong technical knowledge and organisational skills
• A proactive, supportive approach to teamwork
• Excellent communication skills
• BrightPay experience is helpful but not essential
• The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
