Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE (Female) Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at this Client, an inclusive and high-achieving secondary school in Waltham Forest. This exciting opportunity starts in April 2025 and will be for one year.

The Role:

• Teaching PE (Female) to Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
• Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that inspire a love for physical activity
• Supporting and encouraging students of all abilities to achieve their best
• Organising and overseeing extracurricular sports activities and fixtures
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress
• Contributing to the school's vibrant sports culture and ethos

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related subject
• Possess experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Be passionate about PE and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle
• Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
• Be a team player with strong communication and organisational skills
