PE Teacher

Full-Time PE Teacher required - St Albans, Hertfordshire

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PE teacher to join a supportive, mixed secondary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time position, starting in September (or earlier for the right candidate), and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a specialist educational setting.

We are partnering with a small school that caters to students in small groups of between 2 to 8, allowing for focused and meaningful teaching. This role has opened due to the departure of a permanent staff member, and the school is open to offering a temporary, fixed-term, or permanent contract, depending on your availability and preference.

What We're Looking For:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• At least one year of experience teaching in UK schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident in delivering PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
• An enhanced DBS check (we can assist with the application)
• A passion for sport and physical education
• The ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Legal right to work in the UK

• Competitive daily rate: £169 to £259, depending on experience
• Equivalent to Main to Upper Pay Scale London Fringe (£33,074 - £50,470)
