Location: Lewisham
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only (Temporary / Ongoing)
Salary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a sports enthusiast with a passion for supporting young people in education? Our leading education agency is seeking a dedicated PE Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in the Lewisham area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with a strong interest in physical education to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

As a PE TA, you will support PE teachers in delivering high-quality lessons, helping students to develop physical skills, confidence, and a love for sport. You'll assist with lesson preparation, manage equipment, and play an active role in extra-curricular clubs and sporting events.

• Support the delivery of PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Encourage student participation and engagement in physical activities

• Set up and maintain sports equipment and learning spaces

• Supervise students during lessons, break times, and school trips

• Assist in managing behaviour and promoting a safe learning environment

• Help coordinate after-school sports clubs, teams, and events

• Experience working with young people in a school or coaching capacity

• A passion for sport and physical education

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A positive, energetic, and flexible attitude

• An enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one through us)

• Sports coaching qualifications (e.g. FA, UKCC)

• First Aid and/or Safeguarding training

• A relevant degree (e.g. Sports Science, Physical Education)
