Job Description - People Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated People Advisor to join our Human Resources department. The role involves providing advice on HR policies, supporting staff welfare, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.

Our client is a reputable organisation within the public sector, known for its significant contribution to community health. They are a large organisation based in Manchester with a dedicated team committed to improving community health outcomes.

Description

  • Supporting to a wide range of employee relation matters.
  • Providing professional advise and support on the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, terms and conditions, legislation, promoting positive employee relations are maintained.
  • Managing a variety of complex cases.
  • Support the business with workforce planning and organisational changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Undertake and analyse employee data.
  • Create and maintain documentation to support People policies.
  • Support the implementation of HR strategies within the department.
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring fair resolution.
  • Contribute to staff welfare initiatives and well-being programmes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the overall objectives of the organisation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Profile

A successful People Advisor should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong background in ER Case management.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in handling employee relations and welfare matters.
  • A keen interest in contributing to community health.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Offer

  • Immediate start opportunity.
  • 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract.
